When I bought the Freedom Chair A13 UltraSmart Sport Wheelchair not long ago, I was amazed at how comfortable and smooth the ride felt. The Atlas 60 Portable Car Boot Hoist was also a great add-on, allowing me to load my wheelchair into the car boot with no hassle.

Russell and his team were also very accommodating and easy to deal with. Thanks guys!

I cannot give enough praise to this business.

In the market for a portable mobility scooter, I had done extensive research on both brands/models and suppliers. I had some lukewarm experiences with some of the business I visited and was underwhelmed and discouraged. There was only one other business that offered a good experience, but didn’t stock what I was looking for.

And then I had a very enlightened and friendly phone conversation with Russell who was very willing to come to me with information and options when I mentioned I live in Lalor (quite a way from their showrooms in Mentone). I was unable to organise this as I was going away for a few days, but he encouraged me to speak with Tahlia the following week, which I did.

Tahlia patiently waited for me to arrive 1/2 hour later than arranged because of heavy traffic and unanticipated delays - which I communicated to her on the phone while on my way, and she was lovely about it.

On arrival, she proceeded to ask the right questions and ensure that I was given all the information needed to make an informed decision.

Once I found the scooter I was most keen on, she happily took me through the operation and features, then got it all the way to my car, showed me how to accommodate it in the boot, retrieved it and allowed me to do it all again by myself to ensure I would be able to on an ongoing basis. She was incredibly supportive and understanding, as well as demonstrating good and thorough knowledge of the products and applicable considerations. She made it so easy to fall in love with my new ‘chariot’… I cannot wait to pick it up now!!

I recommend this business highly!

Portable Mobility Melbourne has a great selection to choose from. The staff are very knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to understand our needs and helped us decide which one of their many Freedom Chair models was best suited for us. It was good to be able to try different models before making a decision. I was particularly impressed with the quality of their products.
